IPL 2020 TEAM PREVIEW : KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS

 The two time Indian Premier League champions Kolkata Knight Riders would be looking to end their drought of six years. The IPL was shifted to UAE in 2014 when KKR last won the title. Now, again this time the tournament has been shifted to UAE due to the coronavirus pandemic. This could be a chance for the Knight Riders to end their drought.

The side, captained by Indian international wicket keeper, Dinesh Karthik, looks like a strong contender for the title. The pace battery of KKR consisting of Indian domestic players such as Shivam Mavi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Prasidh Krishna and Sandeep Warrier is one of the strongest domestic bowling attacks in the tournament. They will receive a huge boost in the form of Pat Cummins and Lockie Ferguson, making them one of the fiercest pace bowling attack in the IPL. They also have two mystery spinners in the form of Varun Chakravarty and Sunil Narine. Sunil Narine is also one of the power hitting all rounders alongside Andre Russell that KKR has. They will bring the necessary firepower and balance to the side. 

Talking about their batting lineup, the attack will be lead by Indian batting sensation, Shubhman Gill, Sunil Narine and Nitish Rana at the top. World Cup winning captain, Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik are going to provide the composure and experience, required in the middle overs. The lower order will be powered by the beast, Dre Russ, who has the capability of winning matches for his team single handedly.
